Cu-Alumina

MBN Nanomaterialia develops Copper-based Oxide Dispersion-Strengthened (ODS) composites reinforced with nano-sized Alumina (Al₂O₃) particles. These materials offer excellent thermal conductivity, wear resistance, and mechanical strength, making them a sustainable alternative to other Copper alloys across various resistance grades.

Through MBN’s proprietary solid-state powder processing, a fine and stable dispersion of oxides is achieved, enhancing performance under thermal and mechanical loads.
Available in tailored formulations, Cu–Al₂O₃ composites are ideal for electrical contacts, tooling, and heat exchanger components requiring high strength and conductivity without compromising on safety or environmental compliance.
