Powder Engineering
MBN Nanomaterialia’s proprietary High Energy Ball Milling (HEBM) technology enables the development of nanostructured powders with properties and compositions not achievable through conventional melting-based processes.
This solid-state manufacturing route delivers:
Tunable, homogeneous elemental distribution at the particle level
Ultrafine to nano-scale crystalline structures
Micron-sized powder particles usable in all the powder metallurgy and deposition processes
Accurate control of the purity with dedicated reactors
Each powder particle contains all the constituents of the formulation—uniformly distributed and intimately bonded—creating a pre-mixed to pre-alloyed state. This enables enhanced sintering behavior, with shorter cycle times and lower temperatures, and ultimately improved mechanical properties in the final part.
