MBN Nanomaterialia produces Oxide Dispersion-Strengthened (ODS) FeCrAl powders, engineered for exceptional oxidation and creep resistance at elevated temperatures. These materials represent a high-performance alternative to NiCr-based superalloys, ideal for structural applications in energy, aerospace, and industrial thermal systems.
Using proprietary high-capacity ball mills, MBN achieves homogeneous dispersion of nano-sized Yttrium Oxide particles (~10 nm) within the FeCrAl matrix via mechanical alloying. This refined microstructure enhances high-temperature stability and extends service life under thermal and mechanical stress.
ODS powders are optimized for Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) to produce fully dense billets up to 1 ton, which can then be processed by extrusion or rolling into long or flat products. Standard ferritic steel consolidation parameters are applied, followed by thermal treatments to enable secondary recrystallization and microstructural stabilization.
Key Benefits:
-
- Excellent creep and oxidation resistance
-
- Nano-oxide dispersion for superior thermal performance
-
- Scalable for industrial component production
FeCrAl ODS powders provide a robust foundation for advanced high-temperature applications.
